When diagnosed with a non Hodgkin lymphoma Mike made the decision to chronicle his experiences via his blog Open Mike. Just last month Mike release a new book entitled, “Stumbling Towards Heaven” which discusses the interplay between his diagnosis and issues of faith. When Mike Hamel, one of the founders of MoreMarrowDonors.org, learned that he had Non Hodgkins Lymphoma he decided to document his experience for friends, family, and others interested in learning more about dealing with cancer. A committed husband, father, friend, and writer, he has blogged throughout his treatment and recovery process.
